Decentralized GPU cloud on Solana

Rent GPUs.
Pay only for proven time.

Kiln is a marketplace for idle GPUs. Every GPU has a simple dollar price per hour, and you can pay it in USDC or in $KILN. Every minute is proven on-chain, and anything the machine doesn't prove is refunded automatically.

The escrow difference

You only pay for what runs.

Traditional clouds bill you for reserved time whether the machine works or not. On Kiln, your deposit is split by proof. Move the sliders to see where every dollar goes.

Same maths as the on-chain program: proven seconds × price ÷ 3600, minus a 2.5% protocol fee. Prices are in USD and shown as examples; you can pay them in USDC or $KILN.

The machine was only proven for 7.50 of 10 hours, so $3.75 goes back to your wallet when you close the lease.

How it works

From wallet to GPU in three steps.

Read the full walkthrough →
  1. 1

Pick a GPU and fund it

Choose a listing and the hours you want. Payment goes into an escrow account on Solana that neither Kiln nor the provider controls.

  2. 2

    Launch your workload

Sign one message with your wallet and pick a template or any Docker image. The provider's node starts it with the GPU attached.

  3. 3

    Pay only for proven time

While your container runs, the machine signs a heartbeat on-chain every minute. Close the lease and unproven time comes straight back.

Live network

Every lease, on the record.

These numbers come straight from the Kiln program on Solana. A lease shows as verified when its machine has signed a heartbeat in the last three minutes.

Why Kiln

A GPU cloud with receipts.

Pay for proof, not promises

Providers are paid per proven second, never more than you funded. If the machine drops off, the meter stops.

Escrow, not trust

Funds sit in a program-owned account. Refunds happen in the same transaction that closes your lease.

Your wallet is your account

No sign-up, no email, no card. Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack and rent.

Any Docker image

One-click Jupyter, SSH and vLLM templates, or bring your own image and ports.

Dollar prices, pay in $KILN

Every GPU is priced in USD. Pay in USDC, or in $KILN converted at checkout in the same transaction.

No lock-in

Leases are hourly. Stop, relaunch, or move to another GPU whenever you like.

$KILN

The currency of the compute market.

Every GPU on Kiln can be paid for in $KILN, and the fees from every rental buy back and burn it. More GPU time rented means less $KILN in circulation. Launching on pump.fun on Solana.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

More in the full FAQ.

What happens if the provider's machine goes offline?
Heartbeats stop, so no more time is proven and the provider stops earning. Close the lease from the Rent page and every unproven minute is refunded to your wallet.
Do I need $KILN to rent?
No. Every GPU is priced in USDC and you can pay in USDC. If you hold $KILN, you can pay the same price in $KILN instead: it's converted to USDC in the same transaction.
Can the provider see my data?
The provider runs the container on their hardware, so treat it like any shared cloud machine: don't put secrets in it you couldn't afford to leak. See Security in the docs.
How do providers get paid?
In USDC. Their node settles proven time to their wallet every hour, minus a 2.5% protocol fee. Settlement is permissionless, so anyone can trigger it.
